Meanwhile here at CFW a new year is well and truly underway. Module 1 flew by and we were lucky enough to have a week long visit from Katallin Sallai whilst we were playing with veneer. Katallin, or Kotti, introduced us to the world of Marquetry and also rekindled our love for the culinary delights of the local Swedish bakery!
As winter fast approaches and the ranges in the distance receive their first dusting of snow, we have begun exploring chair making, much to Johns delight! As I sit and write, I can hear the bandsaw working away non-stop as people make full size mock ups of their initial chair designs. So, all in all an exciting few weeks have passed. Ideas are flowing about, what for many of us, will be our first adventure into the world of seating...
